Graphic design
The Centre for eLearning provides a range of services to assist in the preparation of materials for flexible, online or print-based delivery.
Graphic design, computer graphics and computer animation play a major role in materials development in print, audiovisual or computer based applications. Curtin's experienced Graphic Designers can create attractive and informative visuals for teaching, learning and research by schools/departments and by external users.
Graphic Design offers the following services:
- Web site design and construction
- Blackboard templates
- Support materials for national teaching awards
- Graphic design for overhead transparencies and colour 35mm slides
- Design for educational publications
- Cover designs, brochures, diagrams and illustrations for scientific papers and conference presentations
- Computer graphics manipulations and scanning colour images
- Computer (2D and 3D) animations and slideshows
- Photo manipulations, editing complex graphics and touch-ups for enhancements in other applications or programs
- Frame grabbing from on-line video for insertion into other applications
- Computer graphics for Datashow, multimedia, CAL and video.
