Curtin will be upgrading from Elluminate Live! to Blackboard Collaborate on the 20 June 2012.
For more information about how this may affect you and your students, please see our Newsletter Issue 30 - From Elluminate Live! to Blackboard Collaborate.
Virtual classroom technologies such as Elluminate (Blackboard Collaborate) provide a real time learning space. They give students opportunities for immediate interaction with their teacher and fellow learners. Activities can include introductory exercises, brainstorming, problem sharing and solving, presentation of research and projects, role plays, debates, mentoring and support.
Elluminate (Blackboard Collaborate) has been integrated within Blackboard to facilitate scheduling and streamline access to Elluminate Live sessions.
If you wish to:
- Have Elluminate enabled in your Blackboard unit;
- Participate in an Elluminate training session; or
- Ask a question regarding Elluminate at Curtin.
Please contact David Spann by completing the LMS Support Web Form.

Elluminate Live help
- Call 1800 26 7338 - this is a 24 hour help phone line. The average answer time in 2010 was 3 minutes.
- Go to the helpdesk website and "Submit a Ticket" - this sends an email to the help desk. You would use this for less urgent calls.
